WATCH: Chairman Scott Commemorates Workers' Memorial Day
“Today goes beyond just recognizing the profound losses suffered by workers and their loved ones. Today is about recommitting ourselves to making sure that all workers go home safely each and every day.”

“Worker Memorial Day is a reminder of the toll of workplace injury and illness.
“One study conducted about ten years ago estimated that, on average, 15 people die every day because of workplace injuries. And that was before COVID-19, which still poses a grave risk to workers across the nation.
“Tragically, hundreds of thousands of people have already suffered from workplace COVID infections and thousands have died.
“But today goes beyond just recognizing the profound losses suffered by workers and their loved ones.
“Today is about recommitting ourselves to making sure that all workers go home safely each and every day.”
