Reps. Miller and DeLauro Announce Tuesday Hearing Examining the National Assault on Workers’ Rights

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Reps. George Miller (D-Calif.) and Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), co-chairs of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee, today announced a hearing Tuesday on the national assault on workers’ rights and the impact on the American middle class. 

With labor battles heating up in Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, other states, and Congress, workers will travel to Washington to testify on how the elimination of their rights would impact their families. This will be the first hearing bringing together workers from the various state workers’ rights battles to tell their stories. Experts will testify to the economic and budgetary impact of these rollbacks.
