H.R. 3441, Save Local Business Act
Agenda
When more than one employer exercises control over working conditions of employees, they can be jointly liable. H.R. 3441 amends the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) to narrow who is deemed a “joint employer”. This bill would eliminate longstanding avenues for workers to recover stolen wages and to secure recourse for unfair labor practices where workers have joint employers.
